Welcome to 5th Farnham (Bourne) Scout Group
5th Farnham (Bourne) Scouts has been running since 1911. Every year we help over 200 young people to enjoy new adventures; to experience the outdoors; interact with others, gain confidence and to learn #SkillsForLife.
Each week, during term time, we run two Beaver Colonies (ages 6–8), three Cub Packs (ages 8–10½) and three Scout Troops (ages 10½–14).
All sessions are lead by our enthusiastic and capable team of volunteers. Activities include camping, climbing, kayaking, shooting, bushcraft, abseiling, hiking & crafts.
We meet in Taylor Hall, Garner’s Field or out and about exploring
Gift Aid is an incredibly important way for our Group to raise extra funds. Funds that support your beaver, cub or scout do amazing things.
Whatever you pay in subs, we can claim back 25% of that again.

‘So much of who we are as an adult is formed when we are kids,’ said Bear. ‘What Scouting says to people is: “it’s okay to go for it in life”’.
